Reading Rockets: Rocket Blasts
Each weekday morning, Reading Rockets sends an e-mail with three to four of that day's top news headlines on reading, literacy, early childhood, and elementary education issues. A weekly version of Rocket Blasts is also available.

International Literacy Association
ILA publishes research, sets standards for literacy professionals, and advocates for funding and policies supporting the literacy needs of school districts, teachers, and students around the world.

The Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children (DABC) is a national literacy justice organization advancing equitable literacy access, dyslexia advocacy, and culturally responsive educational systems through family leadership, educator learning, and systems transformation.
DABC provides resources and hosts workshops and conferences for educators.

SPELLTalk is a free listserv discussion group for researchers, educators, and other professionals dedicated to improving literacy through discussion of research and evidence-based best practices.The listserv is a place to exchange questions, ideas, and comments about current research and best practices in literacy.

Decoding Dyslexia DC
Decoding Dyslexia DC is a grassroots movement of families working to improve outcomes for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. The organization provides webinars, events, and resources for DC families while advocating for effective screening, intervention, and support in schools.
